The person (or machine) who calls out the bingo numbers for the players.

A bingo card is the card with the numbers on it which you must mark off in the specified pattern to win.

A card game that can be played at the top of your screen during intermission.

A screen displayed alongside your game where you can type in messages to other players and read their responses. This is a good place to make new bingo friends and also see how other players are fairing.

You only need the numbers that form the pattern (or design) to win the game. The most basic patterns are straight lines in a horizontal vertical or diagonal direction. One popular pattern is the "Blackout" or "Coverall" where you have to cover the whole card to win. If there is more than one winner then the prize is divided equally between the winners.

Away From Keyboard. The person has indicated that they are not at the keyboard. This means that if you start chatting to this person they may not see your message and will not respond. A person will usually signify their return by typing in BACK.

A person announces their return by saying BACK.

Be Back In A Bit. Means the person is leaving for a longer period of time.

Be Right Back. The same as AFK. The person has indicated that they are not at the keyboard.

By The Way

Good Game. Players often use GG to congratulate the winner of a game.

Good Luck All or Good Luck Everyone. Used at the beginning of a new game by the players wishing good luck to everyon on the upcoming game.

Hurry Back. Used in response to a player announcing they are AFK or BBIAB to indicate you hope they come back soon.

Laughing Out Loud. Adopted from the IRC chat rooms. A person is indicating that they find a message which someone has entered to be amusing.

Rolling On the Floor Laughing. Same as LOL but funnier.

Rolling On the Floor Laughing My Ass Off. Similar to LOL and ROFL but more intensely amused.

Sorry All Close. A way of letting others whom were only one or two away from a win that you sympathize with them.

Welcome Back. Used by other players to welcome back a player whom has been Away from the chat for an extended period. Usually in response to that returning player saying BACK.

Way To Go. Most common way in which the winner of a game is congratulated by their opponents.
